Welcome to the official Website of the Blue Knights of North Carolina IV.
Officially the Piedmont Triad Blue Knights, we were Chartered in February 1994. Our Chapter was started when a small group of riders from the Greensboro Police Department were informed by Officer Rick Smith of the group, that there was such a thing as a Blue Knights, International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.
Rick being the founding father, was unanimously voted in as the first President. Serving two terms, Rick stepped down leaving the helm to our second President Officer R. Eric Young, then Vice-President. Officer Smith handed over a strong, young Chapter. Young served as President for two years and stepped down for Ray Maness. Next serving as President of NCIV was Brian Henderson of the Guilford County Sheriff's Office. Deputy Henderson served for one term of two years and now going into his third term as President is Officer R. Bruce Smith with the Greensboro Police Department.
Since the formation of NCIV Ronald Burke (Retired Greensboro Police) has been voted time and again to serve as our truste Secretary/Treasurer.
